Muthanga wildlife sanctuary

Muthanga is located very near to the Karnataka border and is part of the Nilgiri biosphere. The sanctuary has the largest number of wild animals in Malabar. Elephant, spotted deer, bison, tiger, cheeta, wild bear, etc. are found in this sanctuary. The Game drives are on jeeps with a naturalist from the forest department.
