We had a fantastic trip, the itinerary was very good with a great mix of busy towns, temple visits, wandering through markets and walks through tea plantations and forests to high viewpoints. Rony made our holiday; he was friendly, greeted us every morning with a big smile and cheery manner. He was informative, with his knowledge of nature - birds, butterflies, flowers, trees, he made each journey great fun and a learning experience for us. We cannot express enough how valuable it was to have such a great driver, more than a driver, a great guide. Once again, thank you for a well organised trip and a great introductory experience for us to India. We shall definitely visit your beautiful country again.
I have been travelling with the team led by Sinna for many years now and I would never think of arranging my (now many) holidays to India with anyone else. Whether it is a quiet relaxing holiday that is wanted or a more adventurous trip with lots of internal travel, they are great organisers. All the arrangements are always immaculate and I have never had any ‘hiccups’ at any time. Most importantly, however, these are people who love India, know India, and want their clients, too, to learn to love the country. So thank you – to the next trip!
You think you’ve seen India? We’ve travelled with the people at Rithu for the last 14 years and we are still constantly amazed by beautiful India and her people. The sights, sounds, experiences are all fantastic and full of colour. People question why we go so often, but no two trips are the same, it is always a new and exciting adventure. Rithu really understand what you want- and we’ve loved every minute of our travels with them.

We have had a very enjoyable holiday. In our opinion the arrangements you made proved to be excellent. In particular, your choice of places to stay. We would be happy to have you organise another visit and would recommed your firm to anyone intending to visit Kerala.

Treks and walks in South India are slowly getting popular. Trekking routes in Munnar, Periyar, Wayanad and the hills in Karnataka are now charted and the camps well organised. People have always been intrigued by it's evergreen shoal forest and high grasslands and those adventurous travellers who have ventured into its unexplored depths have been spellbound by it's natural beauty!
We have mapped and charted some walks off the beaten track that we run exclusively as the campsite and accommodation on offer are our own. One of the most popular one for people looking to walk up high peaks in South India is walking in the Kolukkumalai area above Munnar. We run our own lodging, the Kolukkumalai Mountain Hut, that is a part of our responsible tourism project where we work closely with the people who live on the estate so they benefit from your visit. Do contact us on email@example.com for more details or check-out www.kolukkumalai.in
While most of our treks are based in the hills of Munnar, Periyar and Wayand we also provide treks for those interested in the more remote Mudigiri and the Coorg hills, the Nilgiris, the Kodai and Palaini hills and other parts of the western ghats. Irrespective of which option you decide to take you can be sure that you will have an adventure to remember as we will take care of all that is required. The camps accommodation will be comfortable, food cooked fresh on site, knowledgeable naturalists and local guides and porters to accompany you and in the unlikely event of any emergency help at hand! We have personally done all the treks and walks that we promote so you can rest assured that all logistics of the treks are covered.
For people looking for exotic birds, endangered animals and elusive predators South Indian parks and sanctuaries offer all that one can take! Look eye to eye with a Lion tailed Macaque in the little known forests of Annamalais, walk with the tribals exploring the ruins of the old tramway in Parambikulam or stay in a restored bungalow at Meghamalai where vast expanse of tea estates offers great walks and abundant wildlife are all possible with a holiday with Rithu. Join us in this journey of discovery. Nobody shows South India like we do!
Our offices are manned by local staff who are well trained and are aware of their responsibility to the community and environment. We use small concerns and operate mostly with individuals so most of your holiday cost is dispersed directly into the community. We usually involve local communities in wherever possible as their involvement however small part they are will go a long way to ensuring you bring back memorable experiences.
